Ear to Hear is a privately-owned Audiology practice in Auburn, NY. Our mission is to help as many people as possible in their quest for an improved quality of life through better hearing and to educate them about hearing loss, the benefits of early detection, and today’s technological advancements, so that they may educate others.

We are seeking to hire an Audiology Assistant/Technician who is interested in pursuing a career in the hearing healthcare field. We will provide training to become a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist. This position would be located in either our Auburn or Geneva, NY location. The hours are Monday – Friday from 9AM - 4PM.

What the position includes:

  • Assist in the front office as needed
  • Works directly with providers on patient care and follow up/training
  • Assists with closing appointments out in the practice management system
  • Sends follow up physician correspondence on behalf of providers
  • Inventory, ordering hearing aids and supplies
  • Manage hearing aid orders, device repairs and manufacturer returns
  • Assisting patients with hearing aid issues and set up as needed

What you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience building strong and positive relationships with patients or customers
  • An ability to communicate verbally & in writing with utmost clarity
  • Proficiency with MS-Office & other medical practice software
  • High School Diploma, an Associates degree is a plus.
  • Industry experience a plus
  • Self-motivated to pursue a career and treat patients with hearing loss.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
