JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under the direction of the Health Commissioner and the Executive Director, this position is responsible for performing various duties and inspections in the environmental health field, i.e. office work and field work in food establishments, alleys, fields (rodent control), wetlands, woods, and swamps (vector control)

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or GED equivalent. Serve Safe Certification within the last 10 years. Two (2) years of experience in the food industry. Certified Pesticide Applicator. Must be able to work independently. Knowledgeable of laws and ordinances governing environmental health issues.
