Senior Cybersecurity Analyst

Our Digital Engineering team plays a pivotal role in this mission, and we are seeking a talented and passionate cybersecurity professional to join our ranks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, modify, implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines to safeguard the customer IT Portfolio and maintain compliance with NIST, FISMA requirements and other best practices, and guidelines for system and information security.
  • Actively monitor systems and respond in the event of a security incident through a documented and approved system security plan.
  • Support the management of systems security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and security software.
  • Conduct monthly vulnerability scans, monthly Plan of Action, and Milestones (POAM) creation, implement patches, ensure controls are reviewed, adhered to, and modified as needed.
  • Meet regularly with stakeholder teams to coordinate responses to the vulnerabilities and risks identified in the scans and POAMs.
  • Support Government personnel obtain and/or maintain system Authority to Operate (ATO) status requiring compliance with the requirements.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for all information and system security related matters, advising Government personnel of best practices/solutions and documenting all aspects of the security program.

Basic Qualifications:

  • You must have at least eight years of experience or equivalent certifications.
  • You must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
  • You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.

Lacking any one of these disqualifies you from this job.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific, technical, or engineering field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or similar.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, etc), including system administration and security/vulnerability scanning and remediation.
  • AWS or Azure certifications
  • Security +, CISSP and other security certifications
  • Experience in implementing and managing security solutions in compliance regulated environments.
  • Scripting and automation skills are a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Effective technical writing skills to assist with policies, procedures, reporting and compliance.
  • A passion for technology and a commitment to staying updated on industry trends.
