Guiding guests through Avanti's unique dining experience

Avanti Food & Beverage is currently looking for a great 'Concierge' This position is our guests' first and last point of contact and sets the tone for a fantastic experience. They are responsible for greeting guests as they arrive, as well as maintaining the flow of the building during service. Our ideal candidate will have an outgoing, positive, and gregarious personality. He/she will also be able to retrieve messages and return phone calls in a clear, concise, and accurate manner, be able to guide guests through our various food concepts, and frequently communicate with managers, guests, and staff about available seats in the building. The concierge team is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the entryway, host stand, and surrounding areas.

Compensation:

$18 - $22 hourly

Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests upon arrival and walk them through the Avanti experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the entrance, host stand, hostess storage closet, retail products, and restroom checks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of entryway tables and chairs whenever possible.
  • Communicate and assist in the set up of reservations and large parties.
  • Refill water upon the request of the customer or server.
  • Remove dirty dishes, silverware, and any debris from tables as floor checks are being done.
  • Check restrooms on a routine schedule to maintain cleanliness. Report any restroom problems to management immediately.
  • Assist with spills throughout the restaurant to assure customer safety.
  • Leave the host stand in a clean condition prior to the end of the shift.
  • Assist customers with inquiries or as needed.
Qualifications:

  • Prior food service industry experience is highly desired.
  • Displays excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers.
  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality.
