WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT IN THIS ROLE?

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily living activities and medical needs of our patients. Working closely with our dedicated psychiatric technicians, you will assist in providing personalized care and ensuring the well-being of our clients in our CSU. Your responsibilities will include implementing procedures for administering prescribed medications to patients. You will also have the opportunity to screen calls and address questions related to medications, providing accurate information and guidance. In addition to medication-related tasks, you will arrange educational sessions for patients, focusing on medication education.

As an LPN, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our patient's overall well-being by monitoring lab work as it relates to specific medications. You will also have the chance to utilize your assessment skills by completing admissions assessments and creating treatment plans for our patients. Additionally, in consultation with the psychiatrist or nurse practitioner, you may assist in dispensing prescriptions either over the phone or in person, following proper protocols.
