We produce, package, and ship an assortment of frozen food entrees for Private Labels and National Brands for both the retail and food service markets. Summary: The MRO Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating the maintenance, repair, and operations activities within the Request Foods organization. This role ensures that all MRO processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company goals. The MRO Coordinator will oversee inventory management, managing site services, and collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and perform necessary repairs and maintenance tasks.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of MRO inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstocking. Conduct regular audits and cycle counts.
• Procurement: Source and initiate repair and/or preventative maintenance with vendors to obtain the best prices and terms. Ensure timely delivery of service to meet maintenance schedules.
• Vendor Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with service suppliers. Evaluate vendor performance and resolve any issues related to quality, delivery, or pricing.
• Maintenance Coordination: Collaborate with maintenance teams to schedule and prioritize repair and maintenance tasks. Ensure that all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inventory levels, and procurement transactions. Prepare and present regular reports on MRO activities and performance metrics.
• Cost Control: Monitor MRO budget and expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing best practices to optimize resource utilization.
• Compliance: Ensure all MRO activities comply with relevant safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

Key Requirements:

• Will possess a high school diploma. A college degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MRO coordination, inventory management, or procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems, and a solid understanding of maintenance processes and practices.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to continuous improvement and efficiency.
