Banquet Captain:

Assist in motivating the banquet team while actively assisting in maintaining high standards of service for all banquet, catering and designated member events. This individual provides clear and concise communication between all departments and clients to ensure the success of events. Organization, strategic planning and execution while maintaining a positive, customer service mindset is required.

  • Train, and assist with schedules, and managing the banquet service staff.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Banquet Event Orders (BEO).
  • Execution of banquet, catering and designated member events.
  • Ensure and provide excellent Customer Service.
  • Responsible for end-of-event closing.
  • Serve as Closing Manger to ensure that all areas of the club are secure at the end of the business day, when needed.
  • Manage department facilities, inventories and maintain all equipment.
  • Foster a relationship of open communication with the Sales and Catering Team to ensure continued success and improvement on all events.

Position & Schedule:

Full and/or Part-Time, Non-Exempt. Flexible schedule based on the nature of the business relevant to banquet, catering and designated member events. Includes days, weekends, evenings and Holiday availability.
