Shifts

  • 1st - 6:00 AM to 4:30 AM, Monday through Thursday
  • 2nd - 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM, Monday through Thursday

The Quality Inspector 2 position supports production activities with advanced mechanical inspections, works with customers on corrective actions and other quality items, participates in process improvement projects, and ensures documentation and records are correct. This position's key role is the functioning of the Quality Department and will be heavily relied on for the daily operational functions.

Education and Experience

  • 5 years experience working in a quality role.
  • 5 years of experience working directly with Aerospace quality systems.
  • 5 years experience and demonstratable skill using precision measuring equipment.
  • 5 years of experience working with advanced GD&T symbology, tolerancing, and Aerospace.

Core Contributing Skills, Duties, and Responsibilities to the Organization

  • Perform critical inspection operations for the first article, in-process, final, and receiving operations.
  • Help other Quality personnel with day-to-day operations as a leader.
  • Work directly with engineering and production personnel to ensure quality requirements are being met.
  • Work with customers through electronic portals on corrective actions and delivery issues.
  • Assist source inspectors when present.
  • Perform calibration duties when needed.
  • Assist in internal and external audits.
  • Use problem-solving methods to perform continuous improvement and corrective actions.
