Starting pay - $37-39 hourly

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform routine and emergency maintenance on commercial trash compactors, balers, and other hydraulic and electrical equipment.

-Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

-Utilize basic welding and fabrication skills to repair and maintain equipment.

-Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company and OSHA standards.

-Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with customers and the service team.

-Provide training and support to junior technicians as needed.

-Travel throughout Southern California in a company supplied service truck for on-site repairs and maintenance, with minimal overnight travel.

Qualifications:

-Proven experience working on commercial trash compactors, balers, or similar hydraulic and electrical equipment.

-Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to work on a variety of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

-Basic welding skills.

-Basic fabrication skills.

-Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.

-Previous experience managing people is preferred, as this position may grow into a leadership role.

-OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.

-Forklift certification preferred but not required.

-CPR/First Aid certification preferred but not required.

Skills and Competencies:

-Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Strong communication and customer service skills.

-Attention to detail and organizational skills.
