Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate & Adjust: Skillfully set up, operate, and fine-tune the Folder/Gluer machine while closely monitoring its operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Guarantee that all products meet customer specifications, address defects promptly, and make necessary adjustments to ensure quality.
  • Leadership: Supervise General Technicians working with the equipment, fostering a team environment focused on quality and efficiency.
  • Safety & Cleanliness: Uphold a clean and safe work environment, comply with all safety regulations, and utilize appropriate safety gear.
  • Communication: Engage professionally with team members, respond to leadership directions, and provide constructive feedback as required.
Communication & Leadership:
  • Collaborate Effectively: Communicate respectfully and professionally with your team, accept and act on feedback, and ensure follow-through.
  • Lead by Example: Foster a high-performance environment, provide clear and specific feedback, and motivate the team to achieve set goals.
Requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in Folder/Gluer operation within the food packaging industry, including setup, troubleshooting, and adjustments.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating straight line, auto-bottom, and 4 and 6 corner carton machines.
  • Education: High School diploma (or GED).
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift over 30 lbs, and perform various physical tasks.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to rotate shifts and work over 40 hours per week as needed.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive Salary: $26.00 - $36.00 per hour, depending on experience.
  • Benefits: Eligibility begins on the first day of employment.
  • Bonus: Performance-based bonuses linked to Key Performance Indicators.
