POSITION SUMMARY

The PLC Programmer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the control systems that operate the production line. This will include programming the PLCs, HMI screens, and other equipment to ensure that products are produced according to specifications

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ensures that the PLC programs are efficient and meet all safety requirements.

Develops PLC programs that meet the requirements of the project and are within the capabilities of the hardware.

Creates test programs to verify the operation of the PLC program and makes necessary changes to ensure proper functioning.

Works closely with other engineers and technicians to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.

Provides training to new employees on how to use the PLC programming software.

Adheres to company safety standards.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of an Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field is required.

PLC programming experience is required.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.
