About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized IT Project Manager to join our team and lead the successful execution of various IT projects. You will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure. As an IT Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all business requirements.

The IT Project Manager will provide financial and administrative oversight; as well as the reporting, monitoring, and evaluation of open IT projects. This position will provide strategic IT leadership, project management, policy and administrative coordination in the development, management, and implementation of projects. This position is accountable for developing and adhering to detailed project timelines and capturing milestones, leading the project team(s); and interpreting, refining and articulating all mission-related IT vision and program needs of individual units within the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with global stakeholders to define project scope, requirements, timelines, and budgets
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans using industry-standard methodologies
  • Manage project resources, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring team members meet deadlines
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and develop contingency plans
  • Proactively communicate project status updates to stakeholders, including potential roadblocks and course corrections
  • Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear and concise project documentation
  • Manage project budgets and track expenditures
  • Monitor and control project quality to ensure deliverables meet all requirements
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project efficiency
  • Stay up to date on the latest IT project management tools and methodologies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management
  • Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from initiation to completion
  • PMP certification or equivalent is highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Experience managing projects involving multiple IT domains and cross-functional teams
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of the latest trends and technologies in the IT industry
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus
