When it comes to meeting the industry’s most demanding requirements for custom-machined parts and components, our client, has the cutting-edge technology and versatile manufacturing expertise to get the job done with precision. Responsibilities of the Purchasing Agent:
  • Review short term and long-term material needs and order as appropriate.
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Place purchase orders
  • Vendor contact to follow thru on any past due ordered items.
  • Aid in raw material inventory control by maximizing cycle counts.
  • Participate in full inventory counts when required.
  • Receive all items against purchase orders.
  • Maintain costing spreadsheets as required.
  • When required back up to accounts receivable.
  • Positive and cooperative attitude.
  • As required, run reports and compile data.
Purchasing Agent Requirements and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Willingness to learn new things
  • Able to work self-directed.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies.
  • Good verifiable attendance record.
  • Basic understand of computers and their use.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9000
  • Job requires strong visual observation and critical thinking skills
Pay for Purchasing Agent: Up to $20/hour based on experience. Purchasing Agent Benefits:
