The Teller serves as one of the Bank’s primary front-line customer service representatives and is responsible for delivering exceptional service to customers. Building long-term relationships with customers and cross-selling them our products and services will lead to an excellent customer experience. In addition, this position will be proactive in assisting customers to adopt new technologies, while maintaining our high service standards, as the retail delivery system continues to evolve.


Principal Responsibilities & Duties:

• Serves as first point of contact to create an exceptional customer experience and promotes a level of care that makes customers feel welcomed, significant and engaged. For example, the Teller should be able to greet the customer by name as they enter the bank branch and direct them to the correct area of the bank to conduct their business.

Listens to customer questions and concerns and solves issues, as appropriate, or directs to proper department for resolution.

• Creates customer awareness of product and or service promotions, specials, etc. through interactions with customers.

• Understands the Bank’s products and services and builds long-term relationships with customers as a foundation to cross-sell our products and services by identifying customer needs and referring business to other bank departments.

• Identifies potential customers through networking, customer referrals, or other means and refers them to the appropriate area within the bank.

• Performs daily administrative duties within set processing timeframes, like customer account transactions, accurately disbursing cash, processing loan payments, balancing, scanning proof work and other documents, and entering data into teller system.

• Backs up other departments as necessary or as requested, to help manage overall efficiencies in the organization.

Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay
