Seattle, United States Tasso Full time
Job DescriptionJob Description

Who We Are:
Tasso is a fast-growing, Seattle-based startup whose mission is to bring diagnostic testing to the home to improve patient experience and health. We strive to enable people to improve their quality of life through more informed healthcare decisions.

Tasso was founded to find a better way to collect blood than a painful fingerstick or time-consuming venous draw. Since then, our products have been used in pharmaceutical clinical trials, by Olympians as part of a new virtual anti-doping program, and broadly by hospital systems across the US. We are growing our footprint with leading health systems, clinical research organizations, academic medical centers, and more who are looking to deliver clinical-grade, convenient diagnostic tests to their patients.

You Are:
The Warehouse Supervisor will play a critical role in overseeing daily operations in our Seattle warehouse (e.g. receiving, kitting, picking, shipping), driving accountability of warehouse personnel, safety and compliance with applicable processes. The successful candidate will have experience in a warehouse environment, ideally in the medical device industry (or another highly regulated industry). They should have direct managerial experience, be familiar with standard safety regulations (e.g. OSHA) and quality standards (ISO13485).

This position offers the opportunity to rapidly evolve toward a broader role that includes vendor and supply chain management components.

This position requires on-site presence, in Seattle WA. It reports to our Vice President of Operations.

You Will:

  • Ensure that daily warehouse operations are running in compliance with internal processes and applicable requirements,
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines and safety guidelines,
  • Directly manage a team of warehouse employees, plan work and jump in to support as required,
  • Ensure warehouse is organized using 5s and continuous improvement,
  • Ensure the quality of orders and inventory levels are maintained at a high level,
  • Ensure shipments’ and inventory transactions’ accuracy,
  • Perform inventory counts according to applicable processes,
  • Drive accountability and a culture of safety,
  • Plan for decommissioning the Seattle warehouse site, and execute on the decommissioning plan with the support of the broader organization,
  • Manage operational interactions with a Third-Party Logistics vendor,
  • Create and manage new partnerships with additional vendors and sites, in collaboration with our supply chain team.

You Bring:

  • BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration,
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the medical industry or in another highly regulated industry,
  • Some direct managerial experience of warehouse employees,
  • Strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and identify priorities,
  • A hands-on attitude and a bias to action,
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment,
  • Bonus if you have some experience decommissioning a warehouse site, and/or some vendor management experience.

Other specific requirements:

  • This position requires on-site presence, in Seattle WA,
  • This position requires the ability to perform standard physical tasks required in a traditional warehouse environment (including lifting light charges, operating a forklift, working in a standing position for prolonged periods of time),
  • This position requires some computer literacy, to use relevant systems supporting our operations,
  • Eventually, this position may require occasional travel to vendor sites.

What We Offer

  • $80-95k base salary + Stock Options
  • 100% paid Medical, Dental & Vision for employees and generous subsidy for dependents.
  • 11 Paid Holidays and Unlimited Vacation time
  • 401K + Employer Match
  • Paid parental leave policy.
  • Flexible work hours and a hybrid on-site policy

We have a solid healthcare-driven mission, and your guidance and efforts will directly link to our success. We embrace diversity and equal opportunity and are committed to building a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills. The more inclusive we are, the better our work will be for it.
