Job DescriptionJob DescriptionMACHINE OPERATOR JOB DESCRIPTIONPrepare, set up, and operate different Bindery equipment to include Case-In Line, Case Maker, Folders, Gluers, Paper Cutters, and Stamping Machines. Able to run and adjust different sizes of folding on specific types of signatures. Monitor runs in progress, fix simple mechanical jams and re-set the machine to ensure continued timely production. Perform end of run cleaning process and preventative maintenance as required. Enter and log all set-up run counts and dates in log books. Maintain optimum quality and production to ensure the daily production schedule is met.Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
  • 4 to 5 years minimum experience operating Bindery equipment.
  • Working knowledge of large format Bindery equipment and print production sheets.
  • Ability to understand verbal and written communication and follow directions.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, push/pull, lift/carry up to 50 Lbs.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Quality and detail oriented with ability to organize.
  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Able to read a ruler
  • Flexibility with working extended hours
Compensation/Benefits:
  • Compensation commensurate with experience
