Job Title: Tax Professional 2Location: Malvern, PA, 19355Duration: 3+ Months Job Type: Contract Work Type: Remote Job Description: Responsibilities
  • Assisting with all US domestic and international income tax matters, including data gathering, research and analysis of applicable tax laws, and ensuring company compliance with tax reporting/filing requirements
  • Prepare and submit income tax provision
  • Prepare and analyse general ledger tax account reconciliations
  • Ability to assist in the preparation of complex federal, state and local income/franchise tax returns, including quarterly estimated tax payments
  • Build and maintain customer relations and provide support to various Business units and other departments across the company
  • Ability to improve existing processes and approaches
Required Knowledge/Skills and Experience
  • Degreed accountant with a minimum of three years of public accounting income tax experience at a mid to large public accounting firm.
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills to clearly communicate and present complex concepts or issues
  • Proficiency with tax compliance and provision software; preferably Corptax
  • The ability to work under tight timelines and the capability to make decisions quickly and with accuracy
  • Must be able to prioritize, and work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work across all levels of management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience and familiarity with SAP, Power BI and Alteryx
Skills and Competencies:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in using Microsoft Teams for meetings and collaboration
  • Willingness to learn and ask questions
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently Tax provision Compliance work Tax technologies beyond Excel (e.g., corporate tax software, Alteryx, Power BI) plust to have this experience.
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • Master's degree in taxation a plus
