Job Title: Project Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting project managers and teams in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist project managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of projects from initiation to closure.
  • Coordinate project meetings, workshops, and discussions, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and meeting minutes.
  • Maintain project documentation and records, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports.
  • Track project progress against key milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics.
  • Monitor project risks and issues, and assist in the development of risk mitigation and issue resolution strategies.
  • Coordinate project resources, including team members, vendors, contractors, and consultants.
  • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and documentation.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between project team members and stakeholders.
  • Provide administrative support to project managers, including expense tracking, invoice processing, and travel arrangements.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by project managers or senior management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.
  • years of experience in project coordination or related roles.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Microsoft Project, Asana, or Trello.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in project management (e.g., CAPM, PMP) is a plus.
  • Experience working in industries such as IT, construction, healthcare, or finance.
  • Familiarity with Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
  • Experience with document management and collaboration tools such as SharePoint or Google Drive.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
