Job Description

The EMT is required to support the on-site healthcare departments as part of a multi-disciplinary team. The EMT provides healthcare support and prehospital care for the Project. They all support the project process, from the initial front desk to the processing department. The EMT must be aware of all movement to prevent bottlenecking and promote the safety of the environment.  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the delivery of age-appropriate, culturally, and ethnically sensitive care.  
  • Provide population-specific education to clients and families. 
  • Perform clinical duties in accordance with company patient safety goals. 
  • Maintain comprehensive, confidential medical records of all client contacts 
  • Respond to emergencies in a decisive, composed, respectful manner  
  • Inspect and maintain assigned equipment daily to ensure the safety of the team.  
  • Assist in the development and management of incident capability on-site. 
  • Maintain confidentiality of clients during all forms of communication. 
  • Provide reports to the supervisor. 
  • Support clinical excellence and compliance with clinical protocols and SOPs  
  • Ability to function accurately and efficiently in high-pressure or emergent situations. 
  • Ability to work independently in a stressful, fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to effectively work with persons of diverse age and economic backgrounds in a culturally competent manner.  
  • Support project-specific plan.  
  • Must be able to provide and provide concise directions to clients. 
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing work conditions and responsibilities. 
  • Cultural sensitivity and awareness with the willingness to work with a foreign national patient population

Qualifications

  • Ability to assess and treat adult and pediatric patients in a clinical care setting. 
  • Ability to administer IM and/or SQ injections. 
  • Ability to administer vaccinations in adult and pediatric patients 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Proficient IT skills, including use of electronic medical records systems 

Experience Required: 

  • Minimum of 3 Years experience in a pre-hospital or clinical setting 
  • Education Required: 
  • High school diploma or GED 

Other Special Qualifications: 

  • Current Texas State License; National Registry Emergency Technician certification.  
  • BLS Certificate

Comp Min$59,000  - Max$75,000

Compensation - The pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.

Benefits - This position is eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
