Grace Coffee and Cafe is looking for part-time baristas/vocational mentors with cafe experience and a heart for individuals with developmental disabilities. The right candidate is a patient teacher who believes different is good and wants to support others as they transition into competitive employment.


Responsibilities:
- Prepare beverages and some food preparation

- Follow food safety guidelines and maintain proper food handling procedures
- Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making recommendations
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area, including the coffee station, equipment, and seating area
- Provide ongoing support to program participants, including mentoring skill training in accordance with the individual's needs.
- Collect data and maintain records as required by the state of Missouri and Grace Reliant Health Services


Experience:

- At least 1 year of cafe experience
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating recipe proportions

 

Required:
- Over 18years
- Valid Driver's License
- Background Screening
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Safe Food Handler Certification
