As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a talented Bookkeeping Accountant to join our team.
Compensation:$25 - $35 hourly
Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate financial records and perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for our small business and real estate clients.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, reconciling bank statements and credit card statements.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations.
- Collaborate with clients and other members of the accounting team to record and allocate expenses accurately.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and resolving issues.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant accounting principles, laws, and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and basic accounting systems
- Must exhibit exemplary problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
- Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- At least 2 years of work experience at an accounting firm or as a cost accountant, management accountant, bookkeeper, or related position
- Candidate must have a bachelor's degree in accounting or similar field
