Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:

1. Create and design materials for various print and digital channels including websites, campaigns, advertisements, emails, collateral, products, infographics and other communications

  • Communicate and collaborate with team members about layout, design and project specifications
  • Create or incorporate illustrations, pictures and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications
  • Produce drafts for review and make revisions based on the feedback received
  • Review final productions for errors and ensure that final products reflect project specifications.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines under supervision of senior marketing manager.

2. Participate in brainstorming and generating creative concepts and solutions

  • Plan concepts by studying relevant information and materials
  • Illustrate concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy.
  • Obtain concept approval by submitting rough layout to marketing managers and project stakeholders.

3. Create and design graphics and signage for conferences and event


4. Revitalize and update existing ads, campaigns and marketing collateral as needed


5. Assist digital marketing team in creating graphics and visual content for social media channels


6. Collaborate with video production team to create graphics and provide design feedback for videos


7. Design internal communications such as event invitations, fundraiser materials, holiday cards, etc.


8. Research target markets, trade trends, design as needed


9. Maintain design files, file structure and archives as needed

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree, AA degree or technical degree in graphic design
  • Self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-task, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven environment
  • Creativity, initiative, organization, good judgment, and the ability to express thoughts clearly and simply
  • Sound decision-making, problem-solving, and research skills
  • Must be proactive, positive, a team player, and have a “get it done” approach
  • Minimum three years of work experience in a graphic design position
  • Strong background digital marketing and brand awareness preferred.
  • Must be dependable in attendance and performance.
  • Portfolio required for job application.

Software Skills:

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Project management, website content management and/or html knowledge preferred.
  • Proficient in using Mac computers.
