We’re looking for a positive and professional hotel front desk agent to deliver an exceptional experience to every guest at our guest house. You’ll welcome guests, manage their information, distribute their keys and room assignments, and answer any general inquiries to ensure they have an excellent stay with us. Compensation:

$18 - $20 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Bookkeeping: keep accurate records of all hotel guest account information
  • Take incoming calls, online and in-person room bookings requests, and answer questions about guests’ needs involving room rates, available rooms, amenities, rewards programs, and special requests
  • Connect with the housekeeping department to ensure guest accommodations are ready
  • Welcome, register, check-in, and check out guests staying at the hotel, provide keys and room numbers, and record credit card information
  • Field customer complaints when necessary
  • Brewing coffee and setting up self-serve coffee and tea stations
  • Preparing and setting up our small plate breakfast bar for the morning breakfast service from 8-10
  • After breakfast service, assist with the front desk where needed ie. answering phones, responding to emails, making reservations, daily cleaning tasks, etc.
  • Along with another team member, making sure the buffet remains clean and stocked throughout the service
  • Prepping fruit, vegetables, spreads, and pastries for the following day's breakfast service
  • Baking pastries and bread
  • Assisting with guest requests when needed
Qualifications:
  • Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, customer service skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Has previous experience or working knowledge of Microsoft Office and reservation management systems
  • At least one year of hospitality industry experience as a hotel front desk agent or similar position preferred
  • Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Cooking experience is not required but an enthusiasm for it is
