We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Radiology Scheduler to join our team. The Radiology Scheduler will be responsible for scheduling appointments for radiology procedures and ensuring that all necessary information is obtained from patients and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule appointments for radiology procedures, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds
- Obtain necessary information from patients and healthcare providers, including insurance information and medical history
- Communicate with patients to confirm appointments and provide instructions for preparation
- Coordinate with radiology technologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that procedures are scheduled efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of appointments and patient information
- Answer phone calls and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers
