Job DescriptionJob Description- Develop skills to lead analysis of business opportunities and provide management team with recommendations regarding economic benefits of JV or M&A transactions
- Present results of analysis in a clear and concise manner to management
- Lead preparation of financial models while making key decisions regarding appropriate business drivers regarding growth
- Assist JV team in execution / management of M&A deals and Joint Venture transactions that will drive the overall growth of OUR CLIENT’S
- Participate in internal strategic meetings that drive the growth of the business
- Assist in preparing business case for internal and external use for JV and M&A transactions
- Assist with core business development activities, such as generating presentation decks and communicating internally and externally to illustrate business trends
- Use excel to assist with the analysis of financial metrics, valuation including discounted cash flow valuation, return on investment, etc. with respect to OUR CLIENT’S’s business;
- Serve as liaison between business development and operations/technical/sales/feedstock groups to ensure appropriate projection and understanding of opportunities
- Develop financial models and analysis to support strategic initiatives
- Develop and organize due diligence summaries for external requests; this will include understanding OUR CLIENT’S’s technology and underlying business drivers to be able to answer due diligence questions and provide the necessary requested information
- Track and coordinate information flow between companies and ensure the project stays on schedule during due diligence period
- Ad Hoc analysis and assist with miscellaneous projects that may arise
- Sit in on negotiations and advise based with respect to the due diligence performed
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering preferred
- One or more years of experience in manufacturing industry
- Ability to develop and foster relationships
- Ability to learn both the technical and financial metrics of OUR CLIENT’S’s business
- Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to gather and skillfully analyze information and present solutions
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced Excel skills required
