We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician to join our healthcare team in Johnstown, PA. We are building a medical facility in Johnstown, PA. This will start as a remote position and transition to in person once the building is open around Spring 2025.
As a Physician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients' medical conditions, prescribing medications, providing medical advice, and assisting in disease prevention and health promotion. The successful candidate must have a deep understanding of medical ethics and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively coordinate with other healthcare professionals and medical staff.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive medical evaluations, examinations, and assessments of patients' symptoms, medical history, and physical conditions
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and diseases
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, X-rays, and MRI scans
- Develop personalized treatment plans and recommend appropriate therapies, medications, and surgical interventions
- Provide patient education regarding medical conditions, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications
- Supervise and coordinate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, technicians, and specialists, to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patients, including medical history, physical examination findings, and treatment plans
- Stay updated with the latest medical research, treatments, and advancements in healthcare technologies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to discuss patient progress, treatment outcomes, and recommended interventions
- Participate in continuous medical education programs, training sessions, conferences, and seminars to enhance medical knowledge and skills
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
- Active medical license and board certification in the relevant field
- Proven experience as a practicing Physician
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of medical conditions, disease prevention, and treatment options
- Mastery of medical ethics and patient privacy standards
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new medical advancements
- Proficient computer skills for electronic medical record keeping
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a similar role
- Additional certification or specialization in a specific area of medicine
