Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:
  • Direct other journeyman, train apprentices on site and direct helpers.
  • Conduct all electrical work for various jobsites and projects.
  • Maintain communication with supervisor and management as to the status of any jobs.
  • Track materials used on jobs and notify supervisor of any material needs.
  • Read and interpret job specifications to perform work electrical scope of work as required.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to allow for correct electrical installation
  • Must have knowledge of current NEC codes, electrical, municipality, requirements, and industry standards.
  • Must comply with electrical safety, jobsite safety, and other safety requirements per customer.
  • Will ensure employees under their direction are following proper safety protocol.
  • Will oversee, correct, and teach journeyman and apprentices under the direction proper electrical installation procedures per NEC code and standard practices.
  • The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Requirements:

Required

  • 1-2 years of practical experience managing electrical or other construction based teams
  • 2-3 years of practical electrical work knowledge
  • Active Driver's License with clean driving record

Physical Requirements

  • Site Environment - site work will require ability to navigate uneven project site terrain, ability to climb ladders/scaffolding, walk up and down stairs, ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Read reduced size black and white spec sheets, reports, schedules on computer screens or hard print
