- Location: 4129 30th Street, San Diego, CA 92104
- Hours of Operation: Wednesday through Sunday, 10am-8pm (we would prefer a candidate who can consistently work 2-8pm on Saturday and Sunday).
- Donation Intake: Greet donors and accept donations. Ensure all items received are of acceptable quality and sort them accordingly.
- Cleaning and Preparation: Clean and prepare donated items for sale, ensuring they meet the store's quality standards.
- Pricing: Accurately price items based on store guidelines and market value, ensuring fair pricing while maintaining profitability.
- Stocking Shelves: Organize and stock items on shelves and displays in an attractive and orderly manner. Rotate stock to keep the inventory fresh and appealing.
- Customer Service: Help customers with their shopping experience by providing excellent service and fostering a friendly and welcoming environment.
- Sales Transactions: Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and maintain the cash drawer.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the store clean, organized, and safe. Assist with general upkeep and merchandising.
- Software: You must be able or willing to learn how to upload merchandise to OfferUp and Facebook marketplace.
- Retail Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred. Experience in a thrift or vintage store is a plus.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods. The ability to climb ladders with merchandise.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for quality and detail when cleaning, pricing, and stocking items.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.
$16.85 / hour
$800 - $1600 / month
- Flexible part-time schedules, working up to about six hours in a day, four days per week.
