We are looking for an Automotive Apprentice Technician to add to our growing team. This role is an entry level position with the opportunity for career advancement Your main task in this position is to provide top-tier automotive maintenance and repairs which would involve ensuring the customer’s vehicles are properly lubricated and maintained.
WAGE: $17.00 per hour guarantee or $27 flat rate

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work alongside an assigned technician to learn to perform quality vehicle service maintenance and repairs
- Assist assigned Senior Technician as needed
- Pick up parts from the parts department as directed by technicians
- Performs safety inspections, oil changes, lubrication work, basic maintenance and minor repairs as directed
- Attend all training classes and departmental meetings
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
- Consistently participates in determination of personal performance targets and sets challenging goals
- Organizes work and work tools to minimize damage and/or loss
- Required to successfully pass and remain current on all certification testing
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- At least 18 years of age
- Prior experience preferred
- Detailed orientated
- Dexterity - requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to collaborate with others effectively
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Basic computer competencies
- Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adapt to recent/new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
