About Our Client:

Our client, a prominent consulting firm, is seeking an Immigration & Global Mobility Specialist to join their team in a fully remote capacity to cover a 5 month leave.


Job Description:

Our client is currently seeking an Immigration & Global Mobility Specialist to provide expert support in managing immigration processes and global mobility initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in employment-based immigration within the consulting industry.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage U.S. non-immigrant and immigrant visa filings, including various visa processes such as H-1B, TN, E-3, L-1, J visas, and green card/permanent residency processes
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for HR business partners, employees, and hiring managers regarding immigration matters, inquiries, and legislative updates for country jurisdictions
  • Coordinate all aspects of domestic and global employee transfers, including immigration, employment, tax, and other region-specific concerns
  • Assist in responding to inquiries regarding immigration case status and present available options to stakeholders
  • Communicate effectively regarding global mobility and immigration requirements, government procedures, and case processing times
  • Process vendor invoices related to the Global Mobility function and ensure accuracy
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts on tax, legal, compliance, and compensation-related issues affecting employee cross-border movement

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5-7+ years of high-volume U.S. employment-based immigration experience within the consulting industry
  • In-depth knowledge of various visa processes and green card/permanent residency processes
  • Experience with international immigration matters is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to interface effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with Workday and related reporting preferred


Additional Details:

This is a fully remote position with a schedule of 8 AM to 5 PM. The initial contract is until mid-November, with possible extensions to end of year.
