Job DescriptionJob Description

Heavy Equipment Mechanic responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

  • Conduct fuel, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic diagnostics and troubleshooting and repairs on a wide range of mobile equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and hydraulics.
  • Complete accurate written record of work performed.
  • Plan for and order new parts for inventory and repairs
  • Communicate and work well with others in a safe and professional manner.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic qualifications;

  • Vocational / Technical degree highly desired.
  • Welding certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task, take directions, and perform well with others.
