We are seeking a NDE Technician - Level II for a full-time position in Decatur, AL. Performs nondestructive inspection of material, parts, components, and/or pressurized systems; interprets data from tests; maintains equipment; and supervises NDE activities in accordance to referencing code. Non-exempt role; Reports to Area Manager; Develops procedures for performance of variety of duties / performs complex duties within established guidelines.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Must have valid drivers license
  • Must have TWIC card
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • UT, PT, MT, VT
  • Formal PMI XRF Training and/or certification documentation from previous company
  • PMI Training and/or certification from previous company
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
  • Must be considered local to the job. Per diem is not included.
  • Documentation needed: certifications and resume.

Functional Requirements:

  • Conducts NDT inspections in various methods.
  • Interprets and reports results of inspections.
  • Provide support to Level III.
  • Instruct and/or supervise trainees
  • Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

Compensation

Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.

Physical Involvement:
