Large, well established contractor of nearly 20 years are hiring immediately for Skilled Carpenters with commercial experience. Projects are commercial new construction and renovations in the Northern VA area, DC and Maryland

Do you have experience in the carpentry industry? Do you have the ability to show up every day on time and ready to work hard?

If so, we want you to be a part of our dynamic team Skillforce Inc. is looking for a professional carpenter with the ability to work within a crew of other talented craftsmen. You must be detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision. Pay is based on your experience and proven prior work history.

Requirements:

-Must be a US Citizen

-Must have a clean background

-Must be able to work 10-12 hour shifts starting at 6 PM

-Repair work and installation of doors, windows, and fixtures as needed.

- Ability to do trim work

-Ability to hang drywall

-Ability to do metal and wood framing

- Install of floors, roofs, and walls

- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)

- Ability to design your own layout is preferred but not required

- Ability to read blueprints and follow osha safety regulations

Pay $40.00-$45.00 per hour

Qualifications:

- 5 years of proven experience as a carpenter

- Osha 10 or 30 is a plus but not required

- Must have your own tools and reliable transportation
