TITLE: Industrial Maintenance Mechanic

LOCATION: Zeeland, MI

SHIFT: 1st & 3rd 


***$5k Sign on Bonus


PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Provide maintenance support with moderate supervision to ensure the safe and effective operation of equipment and team.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic plant equipment.
  • Conduct emergency mechanical or electrical repairs as needed.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
  • Safely apply knowledge and troubleshooting skills to all assigned production equipment.
  • Effectively interact with all plant personnel to accomplish plant and individual goals.
  • Minimize downtime due to equipment failure.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience OR 1 year of industrial maintenance experience education (e.g., possess industrial maintenance diploma or currently enrolled in technical school) in lieu of experience.
  • Basic computer skills necessary for logging information, processing daily work orders, and completing required documentation. Ability to learn and utilize the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Effective communication and basic math skills required.
