Montgomery Armored Car Service, Inc. is looking for an armored car driver/messenger that can work successfully in an armed environment.
  • Speak fluent English
  • Be able to read and write in English
  • Possess/maintain valid Alabama driver's license
  • Possess/maintain valid pistol permit
  • Pass Pre-employment /Post Accident/Reasonable Suspicion/Random/Return to work Drug screen
  • Have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Possess and maintain an acceptable MVR
  • Possess and maintain a clean criminal record
  • Be familiar with the local area/roads/landmarks
  • Be able to read and follow directions/read a map
  • Follow all local traffic laws
  • Possess good customer relations and communication skills
  • Be self-motivated and capable of driving for lengths of 6-10 hours at a time
  • Drive long distances per day, 250-450 miles, depending on route
  • Be able to safely operate an armored vehicle
  • Willing to work in an armed environment and successfully complete firearms training
  • Be able to lift (with hand truck assistance) : 75 pounds
  • Be familiar with overall vehicle operations and simple repairs while on the road
  • Follow all local and state traffic laws in areas traveled
