A TOP FLORIA GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS SEARCHING FOR A SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER in Sarasota to work on Multifamily projects- tunnel form 10 story.

A Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing leadership, planning, organization, direction, and control of an individual project to meet the operational goals. He/She is responsible for the efficient delivery of the processes without sacrificing the company's commitment to quality, integrity, and profits consistent with the set objectives. A Project Manager, Level I accepts ultimate responsibility for the project's success including quality assurance, safety, financial performance, and Owner satisfaction in addition to the harmonious performance of the project staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Portfolio Management: Identify and prioritize initiatives across different lines of business, considering strategic objectives and resource availability.
  • On-Site Leadership: Foster a positive and productive team environment, ensuring team members understand their roles and responsibilities, and motivate them to achieve project goals.
  • Full Project Life Cycle Ownership: Take ownership of projects from initiation to deployment, ensuring successful delivery within agreed-upon timelines and budgets.
  • Alignment with Strategic Objectives: Ensure that all projects align with the organization's strategic objectives and contribute to their achievement.
  • Reporting and Metrics: Regularly report on project progress, success criteria, and key metrics to stakeholders, and manage testing and deployment activities effectively.
  • Problem-Solving and Innovation: Encourage a problem-solving mindset within the team, fostering innovation and excellence in project delivery.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve project management practices, tools, and partnerships to enhance organizational capabilities.
  • Staff Management: Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing feedback and support as needed, and conducting performance reviews.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues, ensuring they are addressed promptly to minimize impact on project outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Understanding: Understand the interdependencies between technology, operations, and business needs, ensuring solutions meet client goals and industry best practices.
  • Vendor Management: Participate in vendor selection processes and manage ongoing relationships to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality control measures and participate in resolving quality issues as they arise.
  • Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving disputes or issues through negotiation, arbitration, or litigation if necessary.
  • Contract Management: Support the management of engagement contracts, ensuring compliance with agreed-upon schedules and deliverables.
  • Delegation: Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively to appropriate personnel, empowering them to contribute to project success.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with project stakeholders, sponsors, and other relevant parties.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on emerging technologies, methods, and best practices through continuous professional development.
