Job DescriptionJob Description Job Summary As nurses of Pomerene it is our responsibility to support the mission and role of Pomerene Hospital within the organization and out in the community at all times. Pomerene nurses will demonstrate a support of the hospital's mission, vision, values and strategic plan in a team-oriented environment. The nurse also performs all job duties in compliance with laws, regulations and in observance of accrediting agency standards and related professional organization standards. Professionalism will be maintained throughout employment and includes physical appearance and behavioral presentation. The Mobile Health LPN represents the hospital through health fairs and health screenings out in the community.

Essential Functions

  • Performs the physical requirements needed to deliver services as assigned under the direction of the Director of Mobile Health according to hospital and department policy and procedures.
  • Builds and maintains a positive relationship with external contacts and develops a positive perception of the hospital and the community.
  • Prioritizes tasks in a changing work environment and is able to perform work with frequent interruptions.
  • Demonstrates commitment to Pomerene Hospital's Values.
  • Delivers service that provides customer satisfaction.


Education and Experience

  • Completion of Accredited Practical Nurse Program- Required.
  • Valid State of Ohio LPN Licensure- Required.
  • 3-5 Years Experience as an LPN in a Healthcare/Medical Setting- Preferred.
  • BLS Certification- Required (May obtain during orientation period).
