Able Health Care Service is looking to fill an administrative staff position.
The ideal candidate for the position of Executive Director is an experienced take-charge administrator who can provide overall direction for the company.
Position Objective
- Responsible for the oversight of financial and accounting functions of the organization.
- Responsible for implementing and evaluating quality control. Leads the executive management team in planning and achieving objectives for the entire organization and individual branch office operations.
- Directs the total operations of both the licensed and certified branch operations.
- Directs corporate and branch management team in achieving objectives and Agency’s mission statement.
- Provides leadership to management in delivering the Company’s goals and objectives.
- Member of the Governing Body.
Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to
- Directs the development, maintenance, and compliance of administrative policies, procedures, manuals, forms and job descriptions to assure compliance Joint Commission, state, and federal regulations including Medicare & Medicaid.
- Participates in establishing Agency strategic plan, program development, future direction, objectives, and goals.
- Motivate, evaluate, provide guidance and direction to staff to achieve corporate and personal management objectives and goals.
- Directs the management of the fiscal affairs of the Agency, prepares budgets, monitor all fiscal matters and participates in the Fiscal Affairs Committee.
- Implements and oversees accounts payable and accounts receivable policies.
- Monitors the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers of the organization that support accurate identification of cost and cost report findings.
- Make recommendations to the CEO for changes in strategic plan, organization design, branch operations and company policies/procedures.
- Implements and carries out the Corporate Compliance Program of the Agency.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with home care reimbursement consultants. Maintains current knowledge of all home care industry regulations and changes governing cost reporting, rate setting, and billing protocols.
- Assist with selection and implementation of effective automated accounting and MIS systems throughout the organization supporting the principles of cost accounting.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
The candidate must have a Master Degree in Business or Health Administrative. At least a minimum of ten years work experience in an executive management/administration in the home health care industry. Extensive knowledge of governmental home health agency regulations, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and Company policies and procedures are required. Excellent organization, financial, analytical, communication, and human relation skills are required. Leadership, self-motivation, assertiveness, and independent decision-making skills are essential.
