As an HR Administrator, you will be at the forefront of this mission, ensuring that our 3PL warehousing and distribution services are conducted with the highest level of integrity and efficiency while always putting people first.
Job Title: HR Administrator
Summary/Objective
Provides administrative support for the HR Department and management. Assists HR with the hiring process and prepares all required HR forms. Enter and update ADP information as required. Responsible for ordering office and operational supplies
Essential Functions
- Organize and maintain personnel records and new hire benefit packets
- Prepare and maintain HR documents and forms, including Medical, FMLA, STD, LTD, Life Insurance, and Jury Duty
- Administers orientation for new ABW employees by providing benefit packets and reviewing company policies with associates
- Distributes DocuSign to new hires, reviews, prints documentation, and processes E-Verify
- Enroll new hires in benefits.
- ADP – Enrolls new hires, updates personnel files and terminates them as necessary. Manages and approves salaried associates and offsite Admin. Assistant timecards
- Maintains and orders inventory supplies for office and operational departments for all sites. Approves invoices
- Provides support when offsite Admins are out of the office
- Maintains attendance calendar for salaried associates
- Answer employee queries about HR-related issues and HRA Claims
- Supports management team as necessary
- Overlook and report issues on vending machines
- Ship Fed Ex packages as necessary

This position works in a climate-controlled office inside a warehouse, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, and kneel. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Travel
It may be required to move between buildings while remaining on site.
Required Education and Experience
- Must be Bilingual
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong computer aptitude and demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office Software.
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize
Preferred Education and Experience
- HR or Administrative background
- Prior warehouse experience
- Some college-level courses
