Corporate Pilot

Hausmann Construction is a first-generation construction management, design-build, and general contracting firm headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska. Founded in 2003, we are one of the most competitive and quality-oriented construction management corporations in the region.

We are seeking a pilot to join our corporate flight operations team, to assist with the safe operation of the company’s super-midsize aircraft. As a corporate pilot, you will help support the travel needs for Hausmann Construction executives, employees and affiliates. As a flight operations team, we are focused on high standards, excellent customer service, risk management, professionalism, and teamwork.

General responsibilities and duties include:

• Act as pilot in command or second in command of flights for which the pilot has been scheduled
• Provide excellent customer service
• Comply with schedules and other directives governing the aircraft’s operation
• Study weather conditions at the destination, enroute, alternate airports and departure points
• Prepare and file flight plans
• Review and calculate the aircraft weight and balance, fuel, and performance data
• Ensure that the aircraft is clean and prepared for flight with all provisions on board for the comfort and safety of the passengers
• Make decisions necessary to start or delay flights, and deviate the flight from planned route or destination when operating conditions dictate
• Assist in maintaining the hangar in a clean and presentable condition

Preferred qualifications:

• FAA ATP Certificate
• FAA First Class Medical
• Total time: 3000 hours
• PIC: 1500 hours
• Multi Engine: 1500 hours
• Turbojet: 500 hours
• No FAA violations/accidents/incidents
• Helicopter license is a plus

We will consider pilots with less flight experience for a first officer (second in command) position.
