Position Overview

Supports production, fabrication and customer order fulfillment activities at a multi-shift facility by and through the delivery of processes governing the warehouse functions during operations. Must be certified in one (1) area.

What you'll do

An employee in this position may be called upon to do any or all of the following essential functions. (These examples do not include all of the functions which the employee may be
expected to perform.)
Be a resource to any area of warehouse operations to include:
Internal External Distribution, Shade Shipping, Raw Materials, Receiving, Internal Putaway
Assures all general warehouse processes and procedures are followed. Advises when additional
procedures are needed.
Assures while pulling inventory for customer and internal orders, all processes and procedures
are followed. Advises when additional procedures are needed.
Communicates status of assigned projects and tasks. Communicates issues and concerns when
needed.
Insures work projects assigned, are completed in a timely manner. Serves as an information
resource to members of the group in providing direction on the completion of assignments.
Maintains an atmosphere of continuous improvement of work processes and job knowledge
areas through adherence to Focus on Excellence philosophies.
Supports and utilizes various coaching and mentoring techniques directed by Supervision to
develop new personnel and maintain the motivation of group members.
When called upon, participates and shares in discussions with the warehouse personnel on the
status of projects and short term and long-range goals of the department.
Ability to use equipment associated within area certified/ trained in Bar Code scanners, Computer
programs etc., spelled out in the training matrix. Available upon request.
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
Position requires regular and predictable attendance.
Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job.

Who you are

An employee in this position, upon appointment, should have the equivalent of the following:
Expert knowledge all procedures and processes associated with certified area.
Solid knowledge of SAP, ATS as it applies to Warehouse applications, functionality within certified area.

Solid knowledge in taking prompt and proper action within authorized scope meeting the
cost effectiveness, quality control, performance standards, deadlines, goals and
directives of the department. Assists in the root cause analysis approach to problem
solving and takes appropriate action up to including the Focus on Excellence team
concept.
Basic knowledge of the concepts, business principles and practices of physical
distribution, inventory control and warehousing management as it applies to warehouse
functions, production/ fabrication applications, functionality and constraints within certified
area.
Basic knowledge and proven success supporting a team environment that
communicates effectively, forms positive relationships internally and externally. Assists in
the performance evaluation process and level certification program through peer review
questionnaire.
Skill in performing / maintaining day to day functions of the warehouse group within
certified areas.
Ability to communicate both in written and verbal form
Ability to proofread numerical information to spot and correct errors
Ability to perform work activities in a self-directed manner
Ability to respond to requests and inquiries for information in a timely fashion

Acceptable Training and Experience includes a high school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience within a multi-task, high volume manufacturing work environment with three to four years in directly interacting with Supervision and hourly employees workflow. Training in or
exposure to the principles of ISO, FOE, Forklift, Bar coding and Computer experience as it applies to the area certified is mandatory. If position will involve driving company vehicles, must submit to DMV license check. Must have/obtain a Colorado driver's license.
