• $12.00-$14.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Assist a licensed plumber in new construction projects or service-related plumbing work
• Learn and train under the guidance of a licensed plumber to develop skills and knowledge in plumbing techniques, tools, and equipment
• Perform basic plumbing tasks such as installing and repairing pipes, fixtures, and fittings
• Assist in the installation and maintenance of plumbing systems, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and gas lines
• Learn to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to understand plumbing layouts and requirements
• Collaborate with the licensed plumber and other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and according to established standards
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for oneself and others
• Keep the work area clean and organized, including proper disposal of waste materials
• Learn to identify and troubleshoot plumbing issues, and assist in making necessary repairs or adjustments
• Develop knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations to ensure compliance in all work performed
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used, time spent, and progress made on projects
• Continuously seek to expand knowledge and skills through ongoing training and professional development opportunities
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to provide updates, ask questions, and ensure smooth workflow
• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and a positive attitude toward learning and growth in the plumbing trade

Job requirements

• Possess a valid driver's license
• No specific technical skills are required as training will be provided to suitable candidates with a positive attitude
• Adaptability: Be flexible and open to learning new techniques, methods, and technologies in the plumbing field
• Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with team members, communicating and coordinating tasks to achieve common goals
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
