Acoustics Analyst

RPI Group, Inc. is looking for an Acoustics Analyst for a future opportunity supporting a Navy customer in Bethesda, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct acoustic data acquisition with systems that process, analyze, and report on beam noise, FFT, time series, PC-IMAT/STK, K-OMEGA, or transmission loss recorded acoustic data.
• Support a range of analytic products including analysis of acoustic and non-acoustic signal control/reduction programs and techniques to assess performance.
• Provide submarine threat analysis support for electromagnetic, acoustic, non-acoustic, or target strength signatures.
• Possess strong analytic and quantitative problem-solving solving skills.
• Perform duties using extreme organization and orientation to detail with an ability to proactively organize and manage tasks.
• Possess a demonstrated ability to deliver work on a timeline.
• Possess a demonstrated ability to work both independently and in teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• IAM Level I certification
