Ordering, receiving, storing, and issuing parts for Parts department. Other responsibilities include coordinating preventative maintenance on equipment with vendors and/or maintenance supervisor or equivalent. Logging information daily into Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to maintain machine accuracy of hours, breakdown, parts, vendor service, and overall expense to machinery. Any other tasks.

Requirements:

1. Basic knowledge in Excel, Outlook, and Word, Phone, Scans, Email

2. Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills

3. Detail oriented

4. Ability to work alone with minimal supervision or as a team


Essential Functions

1. Maintain inventory; physically and virtually in CMMS

2. Receive, verify, and count incoming parts and packages. Putting items into inventory or staging for work per Work Order

3. Update and maintain CMMS data, files, packing slips, invoices, and spreadsheets daily

4. Cycle counts inventory, stocking inventory, pulling and staging parts for work

5. Creating Work Orders and Purchase Orders through CMMS by request, system prompting, and/or Purchase Order Requests (POR)

6. Cleaning and maintaining order and structure in the Parts Room


Education/Experience

1. High School Diploma/GED required

2. Shipping and receiving


Physical Requirements

1. Exposure to physical operations in scrap recycling and facilities, including walking in active industrial yards with uneven surfaces, occasionally in inclement weather

2. Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, copiers, fax machines, and phones

3. Forklift experience preferred, or willingness to learn and complete forklift training

4. Ability to lift 30lbs approximately once an hour
