Big Rig Lending, LLC, an online marketplace lender specializing in commercial vehicle lending with nationwide coverage, currently seeks experienced Collections Specialist. Ideal candidate will focus on charge off collection efforts of department in line with our Corporate Purpose and Guiding Principles in an innovative, inside sales call center environment. This is an in person, on site role with the possibility of hybrid options in the future for experienced candidates. Candidates must live in the state of Georgia or Southeast Tennessee area.

COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review account information and facilitate collections by managing with the primary responsibility to collect delinquent accounts from clients and provide insight into A/R aging
  • Ensure documentation of all collection attempts in appropriate systems
  • Assist with Repo and Legal processes
  • Quality assurance check of all documents and processes
  • Directly initiate collection efforts by contacting past due accounts in order to resolve the account
  • Use all skip tracing tools available to contact customers
  • Meet or exceed minimum goal requirements based on Company objectives

COLLECTIONS SPECIALIST JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 1-2 years as a Collections, Collections Lead, Recoveries, or closely related field with a proven ability to meet and exceed goals
  • Prior relevant experience in call center collections, mortgage, commercial lending, and/or consumer lending collections strongly preferred
  • Proficient and professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer knowledge including Microsoft Office products including Outlook email and point of sale systems
  • Ability to interact effectively primarily over the telephone and through email
  • Attention to detail and exceptional prioritizing and organizations skills
  • Strong interpersonal, active listening, critical thinking, and analytical skills
  • Flexibility to work various daytime schedules including Saturdays
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus

Full Time

Pay: $16 to $18 per hour; $38k to $40k per year - this includes base plus bonus opportunities
