Swiderski Equipment, one of Wisconsin’s premier and long-established agriculture and construction equipment dealerships, is seeking a full-time Precision Solutions Data Specialist  This person will be responsible for integrating technology solutions into customer applications and will serve as resource and trusted advisor to customers as they implement and utilize technology solutions, data and connected services in their operations. This position plays a key role in creating a positive customer experience through efficient, effective communication and knowledgeable, beneficial interactions. The position requires occasional travel to visit customers, attend meetings, and participate in trade shows.

What You’ll Do:

  • Activate telematics and connected services subscriptions at point of sale for new machines with agronomic data capture capabilities.
  • Assist customers with setting up technology accounts, subscriptions, and transferring/managing data.
  • Educate customers on applications and benefits of the machine portals and how to access their data.
  • Maintain regular contact with customers, engaging with them regularly, to ensure they are maximizing their technology capabilities.
  • Maintain customer permissions to allow Swiderski Equipment access to maintain information and machines.
  • Renew subscriptions with customers prior to expiring.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of manufacturer portals, applications, and services.
  • Collaborate with manufacturer representatives to stay on the cutting edge of programs, services, and offerings available and provide customers the best possible solutions.
  • Develop sales tools and resources and maintain regular communication with the sales staff to foster a strong understanding of connected service programs, packages, offerings, and pricing.
  • Promote and sell service and maintenance packages to customers.
  • Continuously identify opportunities in the technology and data management sectors to provide value to customers and position Swiderski Equipment as a leader in the market.
  • Collaborate with marketing department to showcase and market connected services, data management services and telematics.
  • Proactively expand product and business knowledge by studying and staying current on relevant industry and product information.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work extended hours during the week, in-season and on weekends, as needed.




*Experience working with technology, data management or telematics is preferred. Understanding of data use in agriculture operations and decision-making is highly desired. Previous experience with equipment, service or parts in an agriculture or construction environment is a plus. A background in agriculture is extremely helpful. Salary commensurate with experience.
