Seaside Palm Beach, a proud addition to Banyan Treatment Centers, is recruiting a full-time Lead Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join the Operations team in Palm Beach Shores, FL.

This position requires at least 1 year of work experience as a Lead BHT.

Position Details:

  • Schedule: Shift and scheduled days to be developed with management
  • Location: On-site presence required in Palm Beach Shores, FL 33404

Essential Functions:

  • Serves as Lead on shift.
  • Provides guidance on shift as directed by Supervisor and Director.
  • Communicates information to Supervisor and Director.
  • Provides exceptional quality care.
  • Respects the trials, tribulations, and victories of our client's recovery journey.
  • Observes, monitors and documents client behaviors, in accordance with facility and State requirements.
  • Completes rounds, as instructed by Management, in a timely and accurate manor.
  • Promotes and support patient safety at all times.
  • Demonstrates an ability to deescalate situations.
  • Provides emotional support for clients by referring them to Clinical.
  • Communicates with Nursing and Medical if medical assistance is needed.
  • Safely transports clients.
  • Completes urine drug screenings.
  • Supervises the self-administration of medication, as necessary.

Preferences:

  • Associate degree or Some college.
  • CBHT.

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of work experience as a Lead BHT in substance abuse or mental health field.
  • Valid Driver License (Less than 3 points)- MUST BE 21 YEARS OR OLDER (Insurance Requirement)
