Job Summary:

As a Diversity Outreach Coordinator at Augmentjobs, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the company's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. This role involves collaborating with various departments to promote a diverse workplace and ensuring that our outreach efforts effectively attract a wide range of candidates. You will be instrumental in creating programs and partnerships that support our commitment to DEI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Outreach Programs: Design and execute outreach programs to attract a diverse pool of candidates. This includes creating partnerships with community organizations, educational institutions, and professional networks.

  • Collaborate with HR and Recruitment Teams: Work closely with the HR and recruitment teams to integrate diversity outreach strategies into the overall recruitment process. Provide training and guidance on DEI best practices.

  • Enhance Employer Branding: Promote Augmentjobs as an inclusive employer by developing marketing materials, participating in job fairs, and engaging with relevant online platforms.

  • Provide Support and Guidance: Serve as a resource for employees and management on issues related to diversity and inclusion. Offer support for resolving any related concerns or conflicts.

  • Stay Updated on DEI Trends: Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to diversity and inclusion. Apply this knowledge to continually improve outreach strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in diversity and inclusion, recruitment, or a related field.

  • Knowledge: Understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles and practices. Familiarity with relevant legal requirements and industry standards.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively present information and interact with a diverse audience.

  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in analyzing data and generating reports. Ability to use data to drive decision-making and improve outreach strategies.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated cultural competency and sensitivity.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in diversity and inclusion (e.g., Certified Diversity Professional).

  • Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.

  • Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate setting.
