Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAs Chief Pilot, your responsibilities will include carrying out all duties as directed by the Director of Operations and outlined in the Policy and Procedures Manual.
You must conduct yourself in a professional, responsible, and ethical manner while performing your duties or representing the company.
In this role, you will be responsible for implementing Company Policies and Procedures and ensuring that Flight Crew Personnel adhere to them.
You will also be responsible for implementing Company Operational Control Procedures, developing and revising Company General and Aircraft Specific Training Manuals, and directing all training activities of Flight Crew Personnel in conjunction with the Flight Operations Trainer.
Other duties will include scheduling Flight Crews and being jointly responsible for Operational Control with the Director of Operations.
You will also be responsible for providing an adequate and current aircraft book for each aircraft, developing and maintaining current aircraft checklists, and ensuring that all aircraft are equipped with current manuals.
You will assist the Director of Operations in the conduct of personnel interviews, hiring and discharging for Flight Crew Personnel, and be responsible for tracking the dissemination of company Publications to the Flight Crews and ensuring the currency of the EFBs.
Furthermore, you will prepare and maintain the records of pilot flight and duty times, implement a paperless records system and gain regulatory approval/acceptance.
You will also maintain a full-time pilot schedule while conducting Chief Pilot duties in alternate weeks and conduct other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must hold an ATP Certificate and have at least three (3) years of supervisory or managerial experience in a position that exercised Operation Control over any operations conducted under 14 CFR Parts 121 or 135. A waiver is possible.
You must also be highly knowledgeable in all areas of operations under 14 CFR Part 135 and be capable of acting as Pilot In Command when the need arises. Additionally, you must be able to act as Company Training Captain and Company Check Pilot.

This is a Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm shift schedule, and the company offers full medical coverage, dental benefits, vision care, a 401k retirement plan, paid time off (PTO), and relocation assistance.
