Provider Services - Agreements Processor


What We're Looking For:

Under general supervision, the Agreements Processor is responsible for processing and maintaining agreements between Crystal Stairs, Inc. and providers of child care services, both licensed and exempt, covered under the CalWORKS and Alternative Payment Child Care Subsidy Programs. The ideal candidate will support the Provider Services Unit in the following ways:

  1. Communicate, verbally and in writing, provider agreement processes and explain requirements to child care providers.
  2. Determine child care provider's qualification and enter provider information into database software.
  3. Review and analyze provider and parent information and documentation provided as it relates to satisfying the agreement requirements and organizational/department policies.
  4. Respond to provider, parent, and internal inquiries regarding provider agreements.
  5. Prepare communications to providers/Case Management/ Resource & Referral regarding status of provider agreements and supporting documentation.
  6. Complete verification checklist for each completed agreement and submit for review and approval.
  7. Maintain relevant provider databases and perform data entry functions for address changes, special need rates, Trustline Registration, etc.
  8. Update case notes and statuses.
  9. Research and resolve any pending agreement issues.
  10. Process canceled, abandoned, and fraud agreements, as necessary.
  11. Participate in work groups, committees, and ad hoc groups, as needed.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES YOU SHOULD POSSESS:
  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required. Two years of college-level coursework is preferred. Related work experience in human services/client/vendor management/contracts administration area may be substituted for college level education.
  • Two years experience working in the contract administration area preferred.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
